Sapphire is the birth stone of September and the fifth anniversary stone. It’s the Zodiac birth stone for Taurus and Libra.

Legend has it that the star sapphire is the “Stone of Destiny” and sprang from the star of Bethlehem. The three crossed lines which intersect in the center of the stone symbolize faith, destiny and hope. Even more important was that sapphires could increase wealth, make the dumb smart and transform a mean-spirited soul into one of goodness.
